Description

Our HIV Unit has more than 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV patients. More than 10 professionals, including physicians, nurses, psychologist and statistical and clinical trials support team. Promotes or collaborates in clinical trials and observational studies (phases II-IV). Main focus of interest: ART, cardiovascular diseases, sexual behavior, bone mineral density and HCV.

Between 2011-2017 we published more than 25 articles and participated in more than 20 trials. The grant funding during that period reached more than 150,000€ through several public and private projects. Among other activities, the PI and collaborators participate in National expert panels for Guidelines of HIV and HCV management, such as GESIDA/PNS. The group participates in European networks: COHERE and ART Cohort Collaboration Groups and in international network as INSIGHT.
